When the time had come to buy a new car, I spent months scouring the internet to try and decide what to buy. AWD, compact size to navigate Denver streets, under $10k so it could be paid off within a year, and a history of reliability.
The second generation Honda CR-V stood out from the start, and the fact that the front seats could fold into the rear bench and make a reasonably comfortable sleeping quarters made it the ideal adventure wagon.
