I studied marketing and entrepreneurship, and I've spent my career since on one question: how organizations actually interface with the people who matter to them: customers, partners, their own teams.

The way I approach that comes out of landscape photography. Given the chance, I pull my perspective as far back as I'm allowed, the widest frame I can get, because that's where a system shows you how it actually works. From up there you can see how things are already moving. Most of the work is reading that honestly before touching anything.

Once I can see the flow, I look for the point where a small, well-placed effort changes where things go — the leverage point. Then I come back down and get my hands in it. I'd rather work alongside your team than hand over a deck and disappear — using what I saw from up top to influence the people who actually move the strategy, and putting it to work a layer deeper than a nice document ever reaches.
